Summer Program Teacher 

Become a Summer Program teacher that gets you out with children, nature, activities, field trips and more! Join Our Lady of Bethlehem School and Childcare (OLB) this summer for some fun in the sun!

Start date: Monday, June 3 – End date: Wednesday, August 14

This position can be a reoccurring summer position or could lead to a school year position depending on performance.

We are looking for candidates that have charisma, enthusiasm and a passion to educate children as young as 2.5 years through 8th grade.

Responsibilities:

• Providing exceptional care and supervision for children, while maintaining appropriate group ratios
• Collaborating with co-teacher and other staff in the building
• Providing social and emotional guidance and support for children
• Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons and activities
• Completing additional daily operational tasks, such as cleaning and sanitizing

Requirements:

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma.
• Previous experience with infants and toddlers is highly preferred.
• Candidates must complete satisfactory FBI and BCI background checks and must participate in a VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children training safe environment seminar.
